Barcelona reportedly identify Chievo midfielder Emanuel Vignato as a potential addition during the January transfer window.

Barcelona have reportedly joined the race to sign Chievo midfielder Emanuel Vignato.

While the 19-year-old has only contributed one goal from 12 appearances in Serie B this season, a number of high-profile clubs have been linked with an approach for the playmaker.

Chelsea and Arsenal are said to be among the teams who wish to bring Vignato to the Premier League, with Juventus and Inter Milan also being credited with an interest.

However, Transfermarketweb claims that Barcelona are considering whether to launch a bid for the Italy Under-20 international.

Vignato, who has less than a year left on his contract, has previously suggested that he would jump at an opportunity to join the La Liga giants.
