Barcelona are reportedly concerned about the fact that the club has not received any offers for Philippe Coutinho this summer.

Barcelona are reportedly concerned about the fact that the club is yet to receive a single offer for Philippe Coutinho this summer.

The Brazilian joined the club in January last year for a fee of £105m, rising to £142m with potential add-ons, but has failed to make an impact at the Camp Nou.

Ernesto Valverde is reportedly willing to dispense with Coutinho, who only scored five La Liga goals last season, in order to finance a deal to bring Neymar back from Paris Saint-Germain, although the Catalan club have said that such a move this summer would be very difficult to complete.

According to ESPN, Barcelona are concerned that, with only eight days until the English transfer window closes, no Premier League clubs have launched bids for Coutinho.

Reports suggested that Liverpool were interested in re-signing Coutinho, but Jurgen Klopp publicly ruled out the prospect of a move last month, while Chelsea's interest in the attacking midfielder was ended by their transfer ban.

It has been claimed that Barcelona are even prepared to accept a loss of around £13.4m in order to dispense with the 27-year-old this summer.
