Brazilian expected to snub Manchester United

Santos midfielder Ganso is expected to turn down a move to Manchester United.

Santos midfielder Ganso is hoping to sign a contract extension with the Brazilian club.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Premier League champions Manchester United.

However, the Brazil international is expected to put pen to paper on a new deal.

"My desire is to reach an agreement with those at Santos and extend my contract here," he said. "I have told the president I want to talk in January after the Club World Cup."

FIFA's annual tournament gets underway on Thursday, December 8.
