Juventus are reportedly planning to sell Paulo Dybala and use the funds generated to sign Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United ahead of Inter Milan.

Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly set to use the funds generated from the sale of Paulo Dybala to sign Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United this summer.

Juventus are understood to have received a €70m (£64.4m) bid for Dybala from Tottenham Hotspur, and the Argentine is happy to make the move to North London after being told that he is surplus to requirements in Turin.

Dybala had appeared to be on the cusp of a move to Spurs' Premier League rivals Manchester United as part of a swap deal for Lukaku, but the Red Devils viewed the forward's wage demands as excessive and pulled the plug on the transfer.

As a result, Spurs are now in pole position to land Dybala for a club-record fee that would give the Bianconeri the cash they need to meet United's significant demands for Lukaku ahead of domestic rivals Inter Milan, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Bianconeri are also hoping to sell Blaise Matuidi, Mario Mandzukic, Sami Khedira and Daniele Rugani - the latter of whom is a serious target for Arsenal in their search for a replacement for the departed Laurent Koscielny.

Inter, however, are planning major sales of their own in order to land Lukaku, who has taken to training with former club Anderlecht in his native Belgium as he looks to force a move through.
