Manchester United reportedly set aside funds to complete the signing of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, preferably before next season.

Manchester United reportedly remain keen to secure the signing of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho during the next transfer window.

Due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic, it has been claimed that club officials may only be willing to bid £50m for the England international.

However, according to The Athletic, United would be willing to pay in excess of that figure in the coming months.

The report suggests that the Premier League giants have specifically put money aside in order to win the race for the highly-regarded 20-year-old.

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has acknowledged that the Bundesliga club are already considering potential replacements for the youngster.

Nevertheless, it is added that United are contemplating whether there is value in pursuing a deal for Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele, who would cost significantly less than Sancho.
