Devin McCourty: 'Greg Schiano is toughest coach in the league'

New England Patriots DB Devin McCourty says that his college boss Greg Schiano is a harder coach to work for than Bill Belichick.

New England Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty has stated that Greg Schiano is a tougher coach to play for than Bill Belichick.

Belichick has been with the Patriots for the past 14 years, during which time he has developed a reputation as one of the greatest and one of the most hard-nosed coaches of all time.

However, McCourty has admitted that Schiano is a harder man to please, after being coached by him during his college years with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

He told NESN Live: "Toughest coach I've ever played for? Oh, Schiano. He's more of a yeller and a screamer. He'll get right in your face whereas Bill's more sarcastic.

"Both can be pretty brutal, but I'm gonna go with Coach Schiano."

Schiano was fired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after their final game of last season.
