Sky Sports finally agree deal to show England's final two T20s in the Caribbean

Sky Sports will be showing the last two matches of England's West Indies tour, Press Association understands.

Question marks existed over the United Kingdom television broadcast up to 24 hours before Friday's second Twenty20 in St Kitts, but a late agreement has been struck.

Sky originally paid a set fee covering the entire Caribbean tour, only for the respective boards to add two additional T20s to the initial itinerary.

Cricket West Indies is understood to have valued the games, which start in a peak slot of 8pm GMT, at around £1.5million but were unable to strike a deal at that high price.

With the Kittitian tourist board and the Windies sponsors eager to get a British audience, a compromise deal always appeared likely but discussions were taken to the 11th hour.

Sky staff travelled from St Lucia to St Kitts despite the uncertainty and reported to Warner Park to begin preparatory work as normal on the eve of the fixture.

It is understood common ground was finally found on Thursday afternoon.
