Beth Rigby returns to work as Sky News' political editor after a three-month suspension for a coronavirus rules breach.

Sky News political editor Beth Rigby returned to work on Monday after serving a three-month suspension for a coronavirus rule break.

The 45-year-old, who has been with the broadcaster for five years, was suspended in December after attending a birthday party for veteran presenter Kay Burley which broke lockdown rules in operation in London at the time.

Having served her time, Rigby was back in post on Monday, filing a report on the reopening of schools as part of the government's Phase One lifting of lockdown.

Burley, meanwhile, remains suspended until early June.
