Coldplay are supposedly in talks about taking a headliner slot at Glastonbury Festival in 2024.

Coldplay are reportedly in "advanced talks" about headlining Glastonbury Festival next year.

The rock group first appeared at the world-famous festival in 1999, meaning that an appearance in 2024 would fittingly mark a 25-year anniversary since their debut.

Yesterday Chris Martin and co announced the European dates for their Music Of The Spheres tour, which includes a notable gap when Glasto is due to take place from June 26 to June 30.

As a result the group now has bookies' odds of 6/4 of being one of the 2024 headliners on Pyramid, eight years after their last appearance.

Other rumoured acts for the headlining spots next year include Foo Fighters and Dua Lipa, while the Spice Girls have also been linked with a special performance at the festival to mark 30 years since their formation.
