Jeremih 'doing better' in ICU battle with coronavirus

50 Cent reveals that close friend Jeremih is "doing a little better" in his fight against coronavirus.

Singer-songwriter Jeremih is "doing a little better" in his fight against coronavirus, according to close friend 50 Cent.

The 'Birthday Sex' singer, 33, was admitted to intensive care at a hospital in Chicago last week after testing positive for COVID-19.

50 Cent previously asked for fans to pray for Jeremih and in his latest update on Twitter, the rapper revealed that his condition is beginning to improve.

"Thank you for praying for my boy Jeremih," he wrote. "He is responsive today, doing a little better."

While coronavirus predominantly targets the elderly and those with underlying health conditions, around 1 in 25 of deaths due to the disease are people aged under 45.
