Jamie Foxx talks for the first time about the medical emergency which led to him being hospitalised in April.

Jamie Foxx has spoken for the first time about the sudden health score which saw him admitted to hospital in April.

The 55-year-old was filming a new Netflix movie in Georgia when he suffered what his daughter described at the time as a "medical complication".

Earlier this week the actor posted a short video on Instagram updating fans on his recovery, declaring: "I went through something that I thought I would never, ever go through."

"I went to hell and back, and my road to recovery had some potholes as well, but I'm coming back," he added. "I'm able to work."

While Foxx has still not confirmed the exact nature of his health scare, he did dispel rumours that he had been left blind, or - more bizarrely - that he had been replaced by a clone.
