Liam Payne receives a six-month driving ban after admitting to speeding in February.

Liam Payne has been handed a six-month driving ban after admitting to speeding in West London in February.

The 30-year-old singer was clocked doing 43mph in a 30mph zone by an automatic camera in his £35,000 Ford Ranger.

According to The Sun, in addition to the ban Payne was given a £293 fine and had four points added to his licence.

In a previous written submission to court, the former One Direction star said: "I did not realise the speed limit and apologise for speeding."

Having supposedly been asked for details of his finances, he responded: "I am self employed and cannot provide the information at this stage. However I will pay any fine imposed within 14 days."

Payne is currently working on his second solo album, which is expected to be released in early 2024.
