Mark Wright reveals that he has had a 12cm benign tumour removed from under his armpit.

Former TOWIE star Mark Wright has revealed that he has had a 12cm tumour removed from under his armpit.

The 34-year-old TV presenter said on social media that he "discovered a lump" in his armpit area but his doctor initially dismissed it as a fatty deposit.

Over time it began to grow, however, and after seeking a second opinion he was informed that he had a benign tumour which has now been removed.

"The tumour will be sent off for further testing just to be 110% sure but this top doctor is certain from his incredible experience that we have done the job and there is nothing sinister to worry about. So I'm all good," he told his followers.

"MORAL OF THE STORY: If you notice anything that doesn't look or feel quite right. Don't leave it.

"Nothing in life is more important than your health and well-being. Get checked, check yourself and make sure you take good care of yourself."
