Disney+ announces the cast for Obi-Wan Kenobi and confirms that filming will begin in April.

Disney+ has announced the cast for new Star Wars spinoff series Obi-Wan Kenobi ahead of filming starting next month.

Other new cast members announced for the series include Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, O'Shea Jackson Jr, Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.

Due to premiere at some point in 2022, Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of 10 new Star Wars shows in development for Disney+.
