Tottenham Hotspur will push to sign Nottingham Forest attacker Morgan Gibbs-White this summer, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly determined to sign Nottingham Forest attacker Morgan Gibbs-White during this summer's transfer window.

The 24-year-old has been a vital player for Forest during the 2023-24 campaign, featuring on 33 occasions in all competitions, scoring four goals and registering five assists in the process.

Gibbs-White has a contract at the City Ground until June 2027, but there have been claims that he could be on the move this summer even if Forest avoid relegation to the Championship.

Arsenal and West Ham United have both been credited with an interest in Gibbs-White, who is said to be valued by his current side at £50m.

However, according to Football Insider, Tottenham view the Englishman as a priority signing this summer and will fight to bring him to North London ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

The report claims that Spurs also want to sign a new striker this summer to provide support for Richarlison.

Ange Postecoglou's side have a decision to make when it comes to Timo Werner, with the Germany international's loan move from RB Leipzig set to expire at the end of the season.

Werner has been a regular since his arrival during the January market, making nine appearances, scoring twice and registering two assists in the process.

Gibbs-White's versatility is believed to appeal to Tottenham, with the former Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster capable of operating in a number of different forward positions.

The attacker has three goals and five assists in 28 Premier League appearances this season, while he has managed nine goals and 13 assists in 71 games for his current side in all competitions.

Tottenham's summer budget will be impacted by position in Premier League

Tottenham are bidding to secure a return to the Champions League for the 2024-25 campaign, which would undoubtedly boost their spending power during the summer market.

A spot in next season's European Cup would also allow them to bring in a different calibre of player, with Spurs becoming an even more attractive proposition for potential suitors.

Tottenham are currently fifth in the Premier League table, three points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa with a game in hand, while they sit six points ahead of sixth-placed Manchester United.

Fifth is likely to be enough to secure a spot in next season's Champions League, but the North London club suffered a 3-0 defeat to Fulham last time out.

Spurs will end March with a home game against Luton Town on Saturday afternoon before heading to West Ham United next week for a London derby.
