The family of Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi are allegedly keen to complete a sensational switch back to Barcelona.

The report adds that Barca boss Xavi and right-back Dani Alves are also eyeing an audacious reunion with the 34-year-old, but Messi's father Jorge Messi is against the idea as he believes Joan Laporta and the club "betrayed" them.
Messi is under contract at the Parc des Princes until 2023 with the option of a further year, but the attacker has been left out of the squad for Saturday's clash with Brest as he continues to recover from COVID-19.
