Chelsea are reportedly able to sack head coach Maurizio Sarri for a fee of £5m, which would represent the lowest managerial payoff under Roman Abramovich.

Chelsea have reportedly put themselves in a position where they are able to sack Maurizio Sarri for £5m.

Blues owner Roman Abramovich is no stranger to parting ways with the club's managers, and Sarri is said to be on the brink of an exit from Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have suffered five defeats from their last 10 games, and a further setback in the EFL Cup final to Manchester City may lead to the Italian being removed from his position.

However, according to The Sun, Sarri would be owed a sum of £5m, which would represent the lowest managerial payoff since Abramovich's arrival at the club.

Abramovich is said to have already paid almost £90m to bring about swift changes in managers over the past 15 years.
