Premier League champions Manchester City have confirmed that summer signing Erling Braut Haaland will wear the number nine shirt.

The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium after the Citizens activated the £51m release clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract.

Pep Guardiola now has a new striker to lead the line next season and the Norwegian will become the 11th different Man City player to don the No.9 since the establishment of the Premier League in 1992.
