The relationship between Paris Saint-Germain and club manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly strained, reaching a breaking point right now.

Mauricio Pochettino's relationship with Paris Saint-Germain is near breaking point, according to a report.

The former Tottenham Hotspur boss originally took charge of the French outfit after Thomas Tuchel departed in January 2021 to take over at Chelsea, and since that time the club have won two domestic trophies.

Right now, PSG are top of the Ligue 1 table, with a 13-point gap between themselves and Marseille, while they also remain in the Champions League.

According to GOAL, the relationship between Pochettino and PSG is now nearly at breaking point, and his future with the club is not guaranteed, with Manchester United setting their sights on him as their next permanent manager.

Things between the 49-year-old and the board have become strained which is down to transfers, as he was not allowed to sell several first-team players during the summer in order to trim his squad.

Right now, PSG have 30 players, and that has caused issues, while they were also shockingly knocked out of the Coupe de France by Nice, which added further pressure to his job.
