Manchester United are reportedly ready to part ways with at least four more players this summer to raise funds for new signings.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to part ways with at least four more players this summer to raise funds for new signings.

The Red Devils have spent just over £100m to recruit midfielder Mason Mount and Andre Onana from Chelsea and Inter Milan respectively so far this summer.

Erik ten Hag is seeking further reinforcements ahead of the new season, with a new centre-forward believed to be at the top of his priority list.

However, Man United are working on a tight budget and are required to sell players to both generate funds for new signings and avoid breaching Financial Fair Play regulations.

The Red Devils are understood to have raised just over £20m from player sales so far this summer, with Anthony Elanga, Alex Telles and Zidane Iqbal joining Nottingham Forest, Al-Nassr and FC Utrecht respectively.

United have also removed David de Gea's reported £375,000-a-week wages from their payroll after his contract expired at the end of June along with Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones, while Marcel Sabitzer, Wout Weghorst and Jack Butland have all seen their loan deals expire.

The 20-time English top-flight champions remain keen to balance their books further, and Football Insider claims that they are looking to find new clubs for quartet Scott McTominay, Fred, Eric Bailly and Dean Henderson.

McTominay is a product of Man United's academy and has made 209 senior appearances for the club across all competitions since making his debut in April 2017, scoring 19 goals and registering five assists.

However, the box-to-box midfielder has largely struggled for regular game time at Old Trafford and has attracted interest from Premier League clubs including West Ham United, Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion.

McTominay has two years remaining on his contract at Man United, who are thought to value the 26-year-old Scotland international in the region of £40m.

Fellow midfielder Fred is in a similar predicament at Old Trafford in regard to game time, featuring in the first XI just 12 times in the Premier League last season, and he has now entered the final year of his contract.

The 30-year-old, who is yet to play in pre-season due to a personal issue, has allegedly caught the eye of Fulham, while Jose Mourinho's Roma have also been credited with an interest in the £20m-rated Brazilian.

Meanwhile, Bailly has seemingly been deemed surplus to requirements after being left out of Ten Hag's travelling pre-season squad to the USA.

The 29-year-old centre-back spent last season on loan at French club Marseille and he has since allegedly received an approach from Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.

As for Henderson, the goalkeeper is believed to be closing in on a permanent move to Nottingham Forest, after spending last season on loan at the City Ground, and the Red Devils could receive a £20m fee for the Englishman.
