Roma playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan has reportedly agreed to extend his stay with the Serie A powerhouses until the end of next season.
The former Arsenal and Manchester United man has been in scintillating form for Paulo Fonseca's side and has started every Serie A game this season, registering eight goals and seven assists in the process.
Mkhitaryan penned a deal with the Italian giants until 2021 when he made his loan move from Arsenal permanent last summer, but he is reportedly set to stay for another year following his impressive performances.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both parties have reached an agreement to extend Mkhitaryan's contract until June 2022 - ruling out the possibility of a summer exit.
As well as amassing 15 goal contributions in the Italian top flight, Mkhitaryan has also bagged one goal and two assists in the 2020-21 Europa League campaign.
The Armenia stalwart boasts a total of 18 goals and 15 assists for Roma, who lie fourth in the Serie A table, since his initial loan move last season.
