Niall Quinn: 'Bob Bradley or Sam Allardyce should manage Sunderland'

Niall Quinn says that either Sam Allardyce or Bob Bradley should become Sunderland manager.

Niall Quinn has said that either Bob Bradley or Sam Allardyce should be named as the new Sunderland manager.

The role is vacant after Dick Advocaat's resignation on Sunday and both managers have been linked with the position.

"If it's Bradley from America who hasn't been in the Premier League before he might do things totally different that would get Sunderland going," Quinn told the Chronicle.

"Big Sam might be radical in as much that he'll totally change the way things are going there. I think the same old, same old isn't going to work and I think you need a manager to really change and revolutionise everything there."

American Bradley currently manages Norwegian side Stabaek, while Allardyce left West Ham United in May.
