Sunday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Juventus

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Inter Milan vs. Juventus.

Torino vs. Salernitana (Sunday, 11.30am)

Aiming to cement their place in the top half of Serie A, Torino tackle rock-bottom Salernitana on Sunday afternoon.

Toro welcome their fellow Granata to Turin after winning two of their last three matches; the visitors are looking to avoid suffering five straight top-flight defeats for the very first time.

We say: Torino 1-0 Salernitana

Torino give very little away on home soil, having lost only once and conceded just six league goals at Stadio Olimpico Grande this season. Therefore, sieve-like Salernitana should prove a perfect match for a team intent on inching further up the Serie A standings.

Napoli vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Their title defence in tatters, Napoli merely aim to stay in touch with Serie A's top four on Sunday, when they host Hellas Verona.

After a run of one win in five league games, the Italian champions are in danger of dropping into the bottom half; meanwhile, Verona are battling against relegation.

We say: Napoli 2-0 Hellas Verona

Verona's hand has surely been weakened by events in the transfer window, while Napoli have several men back at their disposal this weekend. As a result, the ailing champions can take maximum points on home soil and push their visitors further down into danger.

Atalanta vs. Lazio (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Separated by just two points in the Serie A standings, Atalanta BC and fellow top-four contenders Lazio meet at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday.

Just ahead of the Derby d'Italia, the two teams will fight it out on an attractive undercard, as the hosts aim to keep a slim advantage over their Roman counterparts.

We say: Atalanta BC 1-0 Lazio

One goal could win this game, as two of Serie A's meanest defences in 2024 meet. Either a moment of magic or madness may prove decisive, with Atalanta's fine home record making them slim favourites to pull further clear of Lazio in the standings.

Inter Milan vs. Juventus (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Italy's top two go toe to toe in Serie A's Saturday night showdown, as Inter Milan meet Juventus in an eagerly-awaited Derby d'Italia.

The Calcio giants convene at San Siro, with Inter leading Juve by a point in the standings - and the Nerazzurri also have one game in hand.

We say: Inter Milan 0-0 Juventus

Inter (13) and Juventus (12) have collected the most clean sheets in Serie A this season, conceded the fewest shots on target, and shipped the fewest goals. Following a tense stalemate in November's reverse match, the pair could now draw both league fixtures for the first time since 2002: caution will come first at San Siro.
