Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, including Max Kilman's future at Wolverhampton Wanderers and a possible Everton exit for Alex Iwobi.

Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Max Kilman has reportedly come to an agreement over a new five-year contact with the club.

The centre-back's future has been the subject of much speculation this summer, with a number of clubs believed to be interested in signing him.

Kilman, 26, has been linked with a switch to Italian giants Napoli, but the defender was recently appointed the new Wolves captain following Ruben Neves's exit.

According to The Guardian, Wolves have come to an agreement with Kilman over a new five-year deal, which will end the speculation surrounding a possible summer exit.

The Englishman made the move to Wolves from Maidenhead United in the summer of 2018, and he has now represented his current side on 107 occasions in all competitions.

Last season, Kilman made 41 appearances at club level, including 37 outings in the Premier League, with the centre-back proving to be one of his team's most consistent performers.

Elsewhere, Alex Iwobi remains in discussions with Everton over the possibility over a new contract, but there is not anything imminent when it comes to the attacker's future.

The 27-year-old has less than 11 months left to run on his contract at Goodison Park, and he has thus far been unable to come to an agreement over an extension.

Everton boss Sean Dyche told the Liverpool Echo that discussions are ongoing with the players who are entering the latter stages of their contracts.

"Me and [director of football Kevin Thelwell] have been speaking about the idea of being open with the agents, open with the players and fathoming out in a way that is a more open scenario - open conversations, where are we at with it, what is the truth of it, and working it all out," he said.

"That is just an ongoing process, not just with him but with every player whose contract has either got a renegotiation or a question mark or time lapse."

Iwobi played the full 90 minutes of Everton's 2023-24 Premier League opener against Fulham on Saturday, and he has now turned out on 139 occasions for the club since arriving from Arsenal.

Meanwhile, according to The Telegraph, Brighton & Hove Albion are facing a battle to keep hold of Julio Enciso during this summer's transfer window.

The 19-year-old made the move to the Seagulls from Libertad last summer, and he was in strong form for his English club during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring four goals and registering three assists in 26 appearances.

Enciso scored against Arsenal and Manchester City in the latter stages of last season, and he has another three years left to run on his contract at the Amex.

However, Napoli are allegedly determined to bring him to Italy before the end of the transfer market.

The Paraguay international was a late substitute in Brighton's Premier League opener on Saturday afternoon, which ended in a 4-1 victory over Luton Town.

Moises Caicedo and Kaoru Mitoma are also among the Brighton players being linked with moves away from the club before the end of the transfer window.
