Sergio Perez upbeat over McLaren chances

Sergio Perez believes McLaren are capable of challenging for good points at the Indian Grand Prix on Sunday.

McLaren driver Sergio Perez has suggested that McLaren could enjoy better fortune in Sunday's Indian Grand Prix than they have so far this season.

The Mexican qualified ninth while teammate Jenson Button starts 10th and Perez is positive about their prospects in the race.

He told reporters: "I think we've got probably our best chance of the whole season to score good points. I'm confident with the strategy."

Perez has so far struggled since his move from Sauber in the winter and has mustered just 23 points for the Woking-based team.
