Bryson DeChambeau fails in his bid to win the Longest Drive World Championship after losing in the final in Nevada.

Fresh off the back of helping the United States reclaim the Ryder Cup, the world number seven had been hoping for further success in a competition which would see him make the most of his physical attributes.

The 28-year-old saw off the challenge of 120 fellow players across three days to book his spot in the last eight of the competition.

However, Dechambeau could only finish in seventh position in the final, his longest drive reaching a distance of 391 yards.

Kyle Berkshire, the world number one for this discipline, emerged victorious by recording 422 yards.

After competing in the Fedex Cup Finals and participating in the Ryder Cup, Dechambeau is now expected to take a short break before playing his first PGA Tour event of the new season.
