Video: Teenager makes albatross on final hole to win tournament at Pebble Beach

Watch as 17-year-old Christopher Meyers produces a rare albatross at the final hole to win a golf tournament at the famous Pebble Beach course in California.

With almost all golfing eyes fixated on the final day of the 40th Ryder Cup yesterday, an unbelievable tournament ending in America went largely unnoticed.

At the famous Pebble Beach course in California, 17-year-old Christopher Meyers needed a birdie at the par-5 18th to tie the lead in the Nature Valley First Tee Open pro-junior competition.

After his drive fortunately hit some rocks and landed in the fairway, Meyers arced in his 4-iron approach and it trickled into the hole for a rare albatross to win the tournament by two shots.

It is reportedly the first time that an albatross has been made in a tournament at the last hole. Check out the unbelievable shot below:
