Oscar Pistorius's brother also facing trial over woman's death

Oscar Pistorius's brother is also standing trial over the death of a woman in 2010.

Pistorius was recently granted bail after being charged with the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

His lawyer Kenny Oldwage has now revealed that his brother Carl Pistorius is also in court, facing charges of culpable homicide over the alleged accidental death of a woman in 2010.

Culpable homicide is the equivalent to manslaughter in Britain, and although Carl Pistorius's trial had started two days before his brother's, it has now been postponed until March.

Oscar Pistorius has denied his charge of premeditated murder, and says that he shot his girlfriend after thinking that she was an intruder.
