Shane Warne coy over rumours of rekindled Elizabeth Hurley romance

Former Australia cricketer Shane Warne says "watch this space" when asked if he and actress Elizabeth Hurley might rekindle their romance.

Former Australia cricketer Shane Warne has hinted that a romantic reconciliation with actress Elizabeth Hurley could be on the cards.

The couple became engaged in 2011, but announced that they had split up two years later.

Last weekend, romance rumours began to circulate when Warne and Hurley were spotted together at a cricket event at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

During an interview with Channel Ten show The Project, Warne said: "It was great to catch up with my ex-fiancee Elizabeth in LA. We hung out a bit and we saw each other the next day too. We remain very good friends.

"[The breakup] was just one of those things - she didn't do anything wrong, I didn't do anything wrong, it just got too hard. Who knows what will happen, who knows down the track. Watch this space. We're still very good friends."

Since his retirement from cricket, Warne has worked as a pundit numerous times for Sky Sports in the UK.

Lovely seeing this gorgeous girl @elizabethhurley1 at game 3 of the #cricketallstars in LA !!!!! ❤️
