Super League roundup: Salford Red Devils ease to win over London Broncos

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Sunday afternoon's games in the Super League.

Josh Griffin scored 30 points as Salford Red Devils eased to a convincing home win against relegated London Broncos in the Super League this afternoon.

The former Castleford centre crossed for three of his side's 10 tries and also kicked nine goals in an impressive display.

Josh Drinkwater was one of five try scorers for London, who look likely to end the campaign at the foot of the table.

Michael Oldfield's hat-trick, meanwhile, helped Catalans Dragons secure a playoff spot and end Hull Kingston Rovers' slim chances of qualifying.

Hull KR had led 12-10 at half time but Oldfield, Morgan Escare and a Sam Williams brace sealed a comfortable French victory.

Hull FC's campaign on the road ended with a satisfying performance but a frustrating result as Huddersfield Giants edged them out 38-28 at the John Smith's Stadium.

Four tries in 13 minutes turned the game as the Giants' class shone through.

Denis Betts's Widnes Vikings secured a playoff spot after beating Bradford Bulls, while Castleford Tigers edged past Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at The Jungle.

The Wildcats rallied late on, with Scott Anderson and Richard Owen scoring 10 minutes from time, but Castleford held out for the win.

Results in full: Salford Red Devils 58-26 London Broncos, Hull Kingston Rovers 14-32 Catalan Dragons, Huddersfield Giants 38-28 Hull FC, Castleford Tigers 26-22 Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Bradford Bulls 12-32 Widnes Vikings,
