Nantes score late to beat Ajaccio

Nantes score in the last few minutes to take all three points away from Ajaccio.

A late goal from Alejandro Bedoya has given Nantes all three points from their away counter at Ajaccio in Ligue 1.

Nantes could have been ahead as early as the 12th minute through Serge Gakpe, but somehow he put his header over the bar from close range.

Banel Nicolita and Birama Toure then both had shots saved as the visitors' dominance continued through the first half.

Filip Djordjevic fired a strike narrowly wide, but Nantes were forced to go into the break level.

Ajaccio could have taken the lead in the 56th minute but Benjamin Andre directed his header straight at the visiting goalkeeper.

The hosts grew in confidence and Remy Riou was called into action once more from Aboubacar Demba, before Bedoya snatched the points late on.
