Team News: Brentford stick with winning formula

Brentford boss Mark Warburton refuses to shuffle his pack ahead of the visit of Bristol City and fields the same team that beat Gillingham.

Brentford boss Mark Warburton has decided to stick with the winning formula by naming no changes to his starting lineup for tonight's visit of Bristol City in League One.

The Bees returned to the summit of England's third tier with a 2-1 victory over Gillingham on Friday - their ninth win from their previous 10 fixtures.

Warburton has refused to stray from a tried-and-tested system by naming an identical first XI to the team that beat the Gills, with Marcello Trotta and Clayton Donaldson trusted with the task of leading the forward line once more.

Meanwhile, City, who sit second from bottom in the table, have made three changes to their side from Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas drops out of the forward line in favour of Tyrone Barnett, while Marlon Pack and Greg Cunningham also come into the fold.

Brentford: Button; Logan, O'Connor, Craig, Bidwell; McCormack, Douglas, Judge, Saville; Donaldson, Trotta

Bristol City: Parish; El-Abd, Flint, Williams; Osborne, Gillett, Pack, Elliott, Cunningham; Barnett, Baldock
