Dutch strugglers Dordrecht, ADO Den Haag in bore draw

Eredivisie strugglers Dordrecht and ADO Den Haag play out a 0-0 stalemate at the GN Bouw Stadion.

ADO Den Haag failed to build on their win over FC Twente in midweek as they were held to a 0-0 draw by lowly Dordrecht.

The visitors to GN Bouw Stadion had a goal disallowed in the first half but could not penetrate Dordrecht again as they had to settle for a point.

They had ended an eight-match winless run on Wednesday by beating European hopefuls Twente 2-0 and were on top for most of this evening's contest.

Although basement club Dordrecht were perhaps fortunate to escape with a point, they may see this home game against a fellow struggler as a missed opportunity to reduce the six-point gap between them and safety.

The Eredivisie's bottom club are showing steady signs of improvement, having only lost two of their last seven games, although they failed to create much of note against Den Haag as Fernando Lewis wasted their best opening.
