Phil Foden and Marcus Rashford both make the starting lineup for England's World Cup 2022 Group B clash with Wales at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium.

Phil Foden and Marcus Rashford have both made the starting lineup for England's World Cup 2022 Group B clash with Wales at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium.

Gareth Southgate's side will qualify for the last 16 as group winners with all three points on Tuesday, and the Three Lions boss has made a total of four changes to his side after naming an unaltered XI for England's first two matches.

Foden was left on the bench for Friday's goalless draw with the USA despite calls from fans to introduce him into the fray, but the 22-year-old has now made the first XI alongside Rashford.

Harry Kane continues to lead the line, with Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling both dropping to the bench as England switch to a 4-3-3 formation.

There is also a spot in the XI for Jordan Henderson, who forms the midfield trident with Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham as Mason Mount takes a place on the bench.

The fit-again Kyle Walker replaces Kieran Trippier in England's only defensive change, while fellow right-back Ben White is not involved due to illness.

Meanwhile, Wales have switched to a four-at-the-back formation for Tuesday's pivotal game, with Joe Allen coming into the midfield as Connor Roberts drops to the bench.

England starting lineup: Pickford; Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw; Bellingham, Rice, Henderson; Foden, Kane, Rashford

Subs: Ramsdale, Pope, Trippier, Alexander-Arnold, Coady, Dier, Gallagher, Phillips, Mount, Maddison, Saka, Sterling, Wilson, Grealish

Wales starting lineup: Ward; N. Williams, Mepham, Rodon, Davies; Allen, Ampadu, Ramsey; Bale, Moore, James

Subs: Davies, Gunter, Wilson, Johnson, Roberts, Morrell, Lockyer, J. Williams, Harris, Thomas, Levitt, Cabango, Colwill, Smith
