Sports Mole previews Sunday's Bundesliga clash between Hertha Berlin and Freiburg, including predictions, team news and possible lineups.

SC Freiburg will look to extend their six-game unbeaten Bundesliga run away at Hertha Berlin on Sunday.

The Berliners sit just two points above the relegation zone before this weekend's games, but the visitors could end this round of fixtures top of the table.

Hertha Berlin are yet to win at home this season, but have only lost once in their four games at the Olympiastadion this term.

Last time out, they held Hoffenheim to a 1-1 draw when Dodi Lukebakio cancelled out Andrej Kramaric's 25th minute strike, which moved them to four games unbeaten.

They had little of the ball against Hoffenheim, and have had the fourth-lowest possession percentage on average this season.

However, Hertha have the joint-best defensive record outside of the top five teams, conceding 10 times in their eight games so far, five of which have come at home.

Their visitors this weekend can do better than that, though, as Freiburg have the joint-best defensive record across the entire division, conceding just six times and earning five clean sheets along the way.

Die Breisgauer have started the season with a club record five wins and 17 points, and have won all three of their Europa League games too, including Thursday's success at home to Nantes.

Daniel-Kofi Kyereh and Vincenzo Grifo scored the goals to take Christian Streich's side top of their group, but top scorer Michael Gregoritsch was withdrawn after just 20 minutes through injury to leave a sour taste on the result.

Freiburg are the best team away from home in the Bundesliga, with three wins and a draw so far this term, scoring eight times in the process.

Team News

Marco Richter has scored twice from five appearances from the bench this season and is pushing to start ahead of the goalless Wilfried Kanga.

Defender Filip Uremovic had to be brought off at half time of the game against Hoffenheim due to injury so his replacement, Agustin Rogel, could come in from the start.

Gregoritsch might not be risked in this game to allow his injury to heal, so Nils Petersen could come into the starting 11 in his place.

That is the only new injury worry for Streich, and he should not feel the need to change his winning side too much.

Matthias Ginter is in line to make his 300th Bundesliga appearance and he should partner Philipp Lienhart in the centre of defence.

Hertha Berlin possible starting lineup:
Christensen; Kenny, Agustin, Kempf, Plattenhardt; Tousart, Sunjic, Serdar, Lukebakio, Richter, Ejuke

Freiburg possible starting lineup:
Flekken; Sildillia, Ginter, Lienhart, Gunter; Eggestein, Hofler; Doan, Kyereh, Grifo; Petersen

We say: Hertha Berlin 1-1 Freiburg

No Gregoritsch will make this a difficult day for Freiburg and Hertha have been defensively resolute for the most part this season. They could spring a surprise, but a draw is a more likely result.
