Preview: Napoli vs. Palermo

Sports Mole previews Wednesday evening's Serie A match between Napoli and Palermo.

Napoli will be looking for just their second win of the Serie A season when they host fellow strugglers Palermo on Wednesday evening.

Rafael Benitez's side head into the match following a 1-0 defeat to Udinese at the weekend, which has left them 15th in the table.

Jorginho and Giandomenico Mesto are both doubts for the tie, having missed the weekend's outing with muscular problems, while Maurizio Domizzi and Simone Scuffet remain sidelined.

Meanwhile, Palermo remain without a win in the Italian top flight this season, with two draws and a defeat so far, leaving them 16th in the table.

The newly-promoted team did secure a 1-1 draw with Inter Milan at the weekend, despite missing several players through injury.

Enzo Maresca could be ready to return after a couple of weeks out injured, but Giancarlo Gonzalez, Ezequiel Munoz and Francesco della Rocca are expected to remain out.

When the teams met during the 2012-13 season, Napoli secured two 3-0 wins over Palermo.
