Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Wales could line up for Tuesday's World Cup 2022 Group B clash with England.

Wales will have to make do without the suspended Wayne Hennessey for their pivotal World Cup 2022 Group B clash with England at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium on Tuesday.

The Nottingham Forest goalkeeper saw red for a dangerously high tackle on Iran's Mehdi Taremi in Friday's 2-0 loss, which has left their hopes of a last-16 place hanging by a thread.

Leicester City's Danny Ward will come in for a start as a result, as Rob Page's side seek to win and hope that other results go their way to make it through to the knockout stages.

Ward should marshal an unchanged defence for the Dragons, as Chris Mepham, Joe Rodon and Ben Davies try to stifle England's attackers as Page's trio of centre-backs.

Connor Roberts and Neco Williams are unlikely to come under any pressure for their wing-back spots, and the same can be said for Ethan Ampadu's place in the heart of midfield.

Aaron Ramsey's performance against Iran was forgettable to say the least, but Joe Allen's lack of match fitness and poor clearance for Iran's opener last week should see the Nice man hold his place.

Gareth Bale did not cover himself in glory last time out either, but Page should not consider dropping the skipper for a game of this magnitude, although Daniel James is pushing to replace Harry Wilson.

The physical presence of Kieffer Moore up front will be key against an inspired Harry Maguire, so the Bournemouth striker can expect to spearhead the charge again.

Wales possible starting lineup: Ward; Mepham, Rodon, Davies; Roberts, Ramsey, Ampadu, Williams; James, Moore, Bale
