Ospreys thrash Treviso in European Rugby Champions Cup

Five different scorers cross the try line as Ospreys thrash Treviso 42-7 in Pool 5 of the European Rugby Champions Cup.

Ospreys thrashed Italian side Treviso 42-7 in Pool 5 of the European Rugby Champions Cup this afternoon.

It was one-way traffic from the very start of the game as Dan Biggar kicked his side into a 9-0 lead inside the first 15 minutes.

The fly-half then converted Jeffrey Hassler and Rhys Webb tries to give the Welsh side an commanding 23-0 lead at the interval.

Ian Evans, Dan Baker and Dan Evans all crossed the line after the break as Steve Tandy's team coasted through through the latter stages of the game to record an emphatic victory.

Joe Carlisle scored a late consolation try for Treviso, but there was no celebration from the travelling Italian players, who were thoroughly outclassed in Swansea.
